Men's Club Championships

On Sunday 14th May, the last putt was holed for the Men's Championships. In the spirit of true sportsmanship, the winners were the ‘stayers’ who did not mind getting their shoes wet when the rain poured, who tried to better their scores after each round, who showed up to support their mates even when their chance of winning the championships were slim.

Consistency has rewarded Daryl Kelly as the new Men’s Champion with gross scores of 84, 87, 85, and 79. The gross runner-up is Paul Harbron with gross scores of 90, 87, 87, and 83.

In the keenly contested Net Championship, the winner is Adam Hughes with net scores of 67, 81, 72, 72, a total of 292. The Net runner-up is Rick Slattery with net total 302.

The ‘A’ grade Net winner is Steve Westbrook 315, ‘B’ grade Net winner is Fred Knight 303, and ‘C’ grade Net winner is Ray Thompson 312.
