The 2023 Country Week has come to an end, and we're thrilled to have played at the Gosnells Golf Club, Royal Fremantle Golf Club , and Lakelands Country Club. A big thank you to Golf WA for organizing the event and to Drummond Golf for their sponsorship.
Ten Denmark players participated in the week-long event. Margaret Middleton represented Denmark in the Silver Spoon playoff at Mosman Park Golf Club on Monday, while Jane Dudley and Doreen Hughes played in the Jubilee Fours at Rockingham Golf Club. The other players, including Lesley Owen, Chris Randall, Josie Wellington, Angela Tillier, Julie Withers, Annette Harbron, and Marion Nelson, played in the 36 Hole event held on Thursday and Friday.
At the end of two rounds of golf at Lakelands CC and RFGC today, Jane Dudley won the 18 Hole Nett in AM/PM field, Doreen Hughes won the Grass Green 36 Hole nett in AM/PM field, and Marion Nelson won the Best Gross and Country Championship Cup for the fifth time.
